We are recruiting on behalf of a global telecommunications technology organization seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead business development and sales across South America with Brazil as the primary base.
This role is ideal for a senior sales professional with a strong track record in mobile telecom platforms enterprise telecom solutions and complex B2B sales cycles across Latin America.
About the Role
The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing the regional sales strategy managing the full sales cycle and building long-term partnerships with telecom operators MVNOs CSPs and enterprise customers.
You will play a key role in expanding market presence driving revenue growth and shaping go-to-market strategies in a highly competitive telecom environment.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute the South America sales strategy with Brazil as the main base

Manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification to contract negotiation and closure

Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders

Sell solutions to Tier-1 and Tier-2 telecom operators MVNOs CSPs and enterprise clients

Translate customer requirements into technical commercial and financial solutions

Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets

Navigate complex procurement processes and long enterprise sales cycles

Monitor market trends competitors and emerging telecom technologies
-
Refine go-to-market strategies to maintain competitiveness

Build and strengthen relationships with partners and ecosystem players

Requirements

10 years of experience in telecom sales or business development

Strong and recent experience in the Latin American telecom market

Proven success selling mobile telecom platforms or services

Experience negotiating CAPEX OPEX revenue-share or hybrid commercial models

Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and procurement processes
-
Fluency in Portuguese Spanish and English

Strong communication negotiation and relationship-management skills
-
Ability to travel across South America as required
Preferred Qualifications

Experience selling to large telecom operators or mobile infrastructure providers

Experience working in multinational or enterprise environments

Demonstrated ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder deals
