We are looking for a motivated and experienced Merchant Account Development Manager to drive growth and revenue across our restaurant and merchant network. This is a highly execution-driven role where you are accountable not only for defining growth strategies but for driving them end-to-end to measurable outcomes in a fast-moving environment.

As a Merchant Account Development Manager you will act as a strategic partner and growth driver for our merchants developing tailored ads and promotions strategies that align with their business objectives. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams performance analysis and a focus on driving product adoption customer engagement and long-term retention.

What youll be doing

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive ads and promos strategy for our restaurant business including owning prioritization delivery timelines stakeholder alignment and measurable commercial outcomes end-to-end.

Relationship Management:

  • Build and manage relationships with key industry players including global enterprise brands franchises and local key accounts to meet their evolving needs.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Motivate a high-performing local Account Management team to exceed ad revenue targets and customer acquisition and retention goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product marketing and operations to ensure business objectives are met.

Performance Analysis & Reporting:

  • Analyze sales performance metrics and proactively translate insights into clear recommendations decisions & actions and provide regular updates to leadership

Account Management & Development:

  • Lead strategic account planning sales presentations contract negotiations and QBRs while owning end-to-end outcomes across your portfolio - including prioritization follow-through revenue performance and proactive management of risks and timelines

Our humble expectations*

  • Fluency in German and English
  • 3 years of account management or sales experience in a high-growth data-driven environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to connect data insights and merchant needs to revenue-driving actions
  • Experience in retail media advertising or performance marketing is a strong plus
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and drive alignment across stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to extract meaningful insights and translate them into concrete decisions actions and commercial impact
  • Demonstrated project management skills including planning execution and tracking of initiatives
  • Ability to independently prioritize work manage competing demands and drive initiatives to closure in a fast-paced environment including proactively managing timelines and escalating risks when needed
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) and basic sales reporting
  • Bonus points: prior enterprise client work
