Job Summary
Position Summary
From time to time the Undergraduate Department requires the services of a qualified person to serve in the role of adjunct. This position requires a person who is able to teach the full spectrum of content required to prepare secondary certification students to successfully integrate reading into the various content areas.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Among the many duties that encompass the role of the adjunct the following are key considerations: Prepare and present lessons based on the SBEC Standards and TEKS Follow the department syllabus for the designated course Manage classroom behavior Address student needs as needed Provide for opportunities for before or after class meeting times for students Adhere to the established class schedule and office hours. Submit contracts book requests syllabi grades evaluations and other required paperwork and reports by due date. Other duties as assigned by the Chair and the Dean.
