Job Summary
Hire Resolves Client is currently looking for an experienced Engineering Superintendent to join their mining company based in will be responsible for ensuring the safe reliable and legally compliant operation and maintenance of the plant while supporting optimal equipment performance and availability.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily maintenance activities and coordinate planned and breakdown work.
- Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
- Ensure statutory inspections and required documentation are completed as per legal standards.
- Support maintenance planning shutdown execution and work scheduling.
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving recurring equipment failures.
- Work closely with production to ensure plant availability meets operational targets.
- Provide input into small projects upgrades and plant improvements.
Requirements:
- Grade 12
- GCC Mines & Works
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- 5 years experience Post GCC within a plant mining environment
- PGM and/or Chrome Experience
- Valid Drivers License
Benefits:
- Salary: R1.5Mil - R1.8 Mil P/A
