Position overview: MSCI Inc. isseekingto expand itsSustainablity& ClimateClient Service team. MSCI ESG Research is a leading provider ofSustainability & Climateresearch to institutional investors globally. Successful candidates will have a financial background client service experience andexhibitan interestforthis business. They should have proven abilities to develop strong working relationships with externalclientslearn MSCI ESG Research products and guide clients to better use those products. Our clients span some of the worlds largest pension funds and asset managers. Managing the relationships for a portfolio of clients exposes the analysts to a wide range of institution types and ensures a challenging role with daily client interactions. To succeed in the role analysts must learn about ESG products and issues about their clients line of business and investment process and then bring that knowledge together to provide insight and best practices to those client organizations. ClientService Associatemust be adaptable eager problem solvers and able to lead cross-organization teams. Great communications skills are a must as they represent MSCI to all levels of client management

Your Key Responsibilities

  • First point of contact for general queries directed to client services by phoneemailor online case management
  • Ownership and management of client enquiry and issue resolution processes for specific case types using salesforce
  • Supporting Client Coverage teams across EMEA to increase efficiency and enhance the client experience via best practice
  • The successful candidate will work closely with Service Delivery Client ConsultantsSalesand their Client Service colleagues across EMEA
  • Achievean appropriate understandingof MSCIESGResearchSolutions
  • Become proficient at resolving MSCIESG Researchclient questions and issues for specific case types
  • Liaise with other MSCI departments to ensure all clients requests/inquiries are managed appropriately
  • Maintainaccuraterecords in Salesforce of client contact details andconversationsincluding cases and emails
  • Liaise with service delivery teams tooptimizeclient experience
  • Work on projects associated with product testing and liaise with cross-functional teams across regions

Your skills and experience that will help you excel

  • 1-5 yearsof work experience in Client Service functionwould bepreferred
  • BachelorsdegreeMBA orMasters Degreepreferred
  • Strong interest in Sustainability & Climate and how these factorsimpactthe investment process
  • Must be attentive to detail with a willingness to learn and grow per the business goals
  • Must have an appreciation for diverse cultural norms and styles
  • Prior knowledge ofMSCIproducts and experience of a client facing role (preferred)
