Job Summary
Job Role: PYP (Math)
Location: DLF Phase 1 Gurgaon
Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated PYP Mathematics Teacher to deliver engaging inquiry-based math instruction aligned with the IB PYP framework. The teacher will foster conceptual understanding problem-solving skills and a love for mathematics among young learners.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver mathematics lessons aligned with IB PYP standards and scope & sequence
- Use inquiry-based student-centered teaching strategies
- Integrate math with real-world contexts and transdisciplinary units
- Assess record and report student progress using formative and summative assessments
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Maintain a positive inclusive and supportive classroom environment
- Collaborate with grade-level teams and PYP coordinators
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress
- Participate in school events professional development and IB training
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Education / Mathematics or related field
- Teaching qualification (. or equivalent) preferred
- IB PYP training or experience is an advantage
- Strong understanding of primary math concepts and pedagogy
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to inspire curiosity and confidence in mathematics
