Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day management maintenance and security of the school site

• Carrying out routine health & safety checks including fire alarms emergency lighting and legionella monitoring

• Ensuring full statutory compliance and maintaining accurate compliance records

• Managing contractors and supervising site-related improvement projects

• Coordinating planned preventative maintenance and reactive works

• Managing site-related budgets and procurement of services

• Supporting school lettings events and occasional out-of-hours requirements

• Line managing site and cleaning staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• Proven experience as a Site Manager Premises Manager or Facilities Manager

• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and statutory compliance

• Experience managing contractors and overseeing site projects

• Practical maintenance skills and the ability to troubleshoot site issues

• Strong organisational and leadership skills

• A proactive professional and solutions-focused approach
