Music plays an important role across both primary and secondary phases with strong engagement in lessons ensembles and whole-school performances.
The Role
Teaching Music across KS2 KS3 and KS4 with KS5 depending on experience
Planning and delivering engaging practical and well-structured lessons
Supporting pupils with performance composition and music theory
Leading or contributing to choirs ensembles and school productions
Encouraging creativity confidence and musical expression
Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-resourced department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree in Music or a closely related subject
Experience teaching Music at primary and/or secondary level
Strong subject knowledge in performance composition and theory
High expectations for pupil engagement behaviour and progress
A professional organised and positive teaching approach
