At Eatable Adventures we are looking for a Financial Controller to strengthen our Finance team and play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy control and insight as the business continues to grow.
This is a great opportunity for a finance professional with solid controlling and accounting experience who enjoys working close to the business and contributing to strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
As a Financial Controller you will work closely with the CFO and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable financial information and strong financial governance across all regions.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial reports with a high level of accuracy.
- Managing cash flow forecasting and financial planning processes.
- Monitoring budget vs. actuals and analyzing variances to provide clear insights.
- Ensuring consistency and integrity of accounting data accruals and reconciliations.
- Supervising and supporting the accounting function including direct oversight of the accountant.
- Overseeing employee expense settlements and ensuring compliance with internal policies.
- Supporting audits and ensuring compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
- Maintaining relationships with financial institutions external advisors and auditors.
- Contributing to the improvement of financial processes controls and reporting tools.
- Acting as a finance partner for other teams translating numbers into business insights.
Tu perfil
Who you are
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in controlling accounting audit or similar finance roles
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel/Google sheets skills and experience with ERP / financial systems
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders
- Experience in fast-growing international or dynamic environments is a plus. Previous experience in controlling multi-entity structures or in external audit is highly valued.
- Language: advanced in English and Spanish; Italian is a plus.
