PIXID manages more than 222000 companies connected to over 12000 temporary work agencies. Each month they exchange more than 2.5 million documents representing a purchasing volume estimated at nearly 11 billion!

Were seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to drive quality automation across API end-to-end and performance testing.

This role is critical in maintaining high-quality standards as we transition to a microservice architecture. Youll build robust automation frameworks ensure system reliability at scale and implement quality gates throughout the CI/CD pipeline.

Youll work closely with Product Owners to define acceptance criteria and with developers to clarify API contracts and UI.

Tasks

Your Key Responsibilities:

Quality mindset: Champion quality standards across the team proactively identifying risks and proposing improvements to prevent defects rather than just detecting them
Test Automation: Design and implement comprehensive API test automation frameworks covering functional integration and contract testing for RESTful and event-driven services
End-to-End Testing: Develop and maintain E2E test suites that validate critical user journeys across multiple micro-services and frontend applications
Performance Engineering: Design and execute load testing strategies including stress spike endurance and scalability testing to ensure system performance under various conditions
Framework Development: Extend reusable test automation frameworks and libraries that can scale across multiple squads
Quality Gates: Implement automated quality gates in CI pipelines ensuring code doesnt progress without meeting quality criteria
Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with development DevOps and product teams to embed quality practices throughout the SDLC

Requirements

5 years of QA experience with at least 3 years focused on test automation
API Testing Expertise: Strong experience with REST API testing tools (Postman Bruno REST Assured Karate) and API test automation frameworks
E2E Testing Skills: Proficiency in E2E testing frameworks (Cypress Playwright Selenium WebDriver) with experience in cross-browser and cross-platform testing
Performance Testing: Hands-on experience with load testing tools (JMeter K6) and performance monitoring (using ELK Grafana)
Programming Skills: Strong coding abilities in JavaScript/TypeScript for test automation development
CI/CD Integration: Experience integrating test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins GitLab CI)
Microservices Testing: Understanding of testing strategies for distributed systems including service virtualisation and chaos engineering
Version Control: Proficiency with Git and branching strategy
Languages: English C1 - French B2
