Responsibilities:
Sound technical expertise in Engineering Mechanics Strength of Materials and Finite Element Methods.
Ability to understand the application of mechanism in real scenarios
Experience in building creative mechanical concepts with strong analytical skills
Ability to assess the performance and conduct design sizing of a mechanical structure
Expertise in Finite element modelling with adequate preprocessing techniques and collecting required
inputs.
A good understanding of FEA solver limitations and simplifications to replicate the physical working to
virtual scenarios
Expertise in solving linear and nonlinear structural analysis. Tool - ANSYS Workbench Abacus Nastran etc.
Ability to summarize the analysis results and interpret with respect to physical testing analytical
calculations and kinematic tool reaction predictions
Involvement in strain gauging solving fatigue and vibration analysis of structures
Basic knowledge in using CAD tools like Unigraphics Solidworks ProE etc
Participate in resolving field failure issues related to design and manufacturing.
Creativity and innovative thinking.
Good Presentation and interpersonal skills.
Required Education & Experience:
Graduate in Engineering preferably Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from a reputed college. Post
Graduate qualification would be an added advantage.
5 to 8 years of relevant experience
Good Team work capabilities and Co-ordination with other teams.
Good FEA background and expertise in FE modelling FE analysis results interpreting report writing along
with exposure to kinematic simulations fatigue analysis and vibration analysis
Preference would be given to those having worked in Global engineering projects.
Having passport would be preferable and should be willing to travel overseas as and when required.
