Maintenance Supervisor

Overview
A well-established manufacturing operation is seeking a dynamic innovative and customer-centric Maintenance Supervisor to join its Maintenance team in Epping Industrial.
This role is responsible for overseeing and supporting the maintenance team to ensure all equipment utilities and facilities operate efficiently throughout their lifecycle through effective maintenance and optimisation. The successful candidate will also support production in achieving production and quality targets.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety requirements
- Ensure adherence to all food safety regulations allergen control housekeeping and pest control standards
- Ensure all legal and safety inspections are completed
- Ensure maintenance contractors comply with company standards and policies
- Participate in personal hygiene checks
- Adhere to company protocols and procedures
Maintenance Supervision & Operations
- Oversee allocation of job cards and maintenance resources
- Manage artisans workloads and ensure work is completed to required standards
- Conduct inspections on completed jobs and assigned areas
- Ensure feedback and job cards are accurately completed on the CMMS system
- Conduct root cause analysis on scheduling issues or incomplete work
- Identify bottlenecks slowing team performance and implement improvements
- Assist artisans on technical tasks where required
- Ensure maintenance tactics and preventative plans are adhered to
- Assist with stock control and management of spares
- Support planning and scheduling of cleaning with the hygiene/technical department
- Provide day-to-day management of team outputs
- Ensure fair allocation of workload
- Provide backup and support to the Maintenance Manager

Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 5 years maintenance experience
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
- N4 Qualification
- Trade Test (Essential)
- Food factory/manufacturing experience (Essential)
