Job Summary
Responsibilities
Electrical Systems Maintenance & Repair- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production packing and site equipment.
- Maintain and upgrade electrical panels wiring sensors and control systems.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues on beverage production lines conveyors pumps motors and packaging equipment.
- Perform mechanical adjustments and replacements to maintain optimal equipment performance.
- Conduct scheduled inspections and preventative maintenance on all electrical and mechanical systems.
- Identify potential issues before they lead to breakdowns and ensure equipment longevity.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and systems.
- Ensure all installations meet safety performance and operational standards.
- Adhere to all OHS Act regulations and site-specific safety protocols.
- Ensure safe handling of electrical components and mechanical tools.
- Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities repairs and installations.
- Provide feedback on equipment performance and suggest improvements.
- Communicate effectively with production teams and supervisors.
- Provide technical support and training where necessary.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems PLCs and motor control.
- Solid understanding of mechanical systems in beverage production environments.
- Registered Millwright.
- Relevant N3/N4 qualification or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 510 years experience in a beverage or FMCG production environment.
- Experience with automated production lines and packaging machinery.
- Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical and mechanical issues efficiently.
- Capable of lifting and handling heavy equipment.
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
Drivers License
- Code 10 license with PDP (Professional Driving Permit) required for on-site travel.
