Job Summary

Youth Care Specialist - Various Shifts Available

Job Purpose and Objectives:

Provide a safe environment for the youth to learn socially acceptable behaviors. This is done through supervision of the youth and teaching new ways of dealing with situations and people. Provide physical medical and emotional care to the youth while they are in the facility. Responsibilities will include maintaining proper supervision interpersonal relations and public social skills.

Position Requirements and Qualifications: To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Position Requirements:

High school diploma or G.E.D.
Some college or bachelors degree in related field preferred.
Employee is responsible for obtaining and maintaining all certification requirements relative to the position.
Must be at least 21 years of age.

Certifications / Licenses:

Possess a valid Kansas drivers license.
Attend required training sessions.
