What is a Soccer/Football Activity Specialist:
The Soccer/ Football Specialist for the summer day camp program will design and lead engaging physical activities that promote teamwork fitness and skill development. They will create a fun and inclusive environment where students of all abilities can participate and build confidence through sports. Additionally they will ensure safety provide coaching and foster a positive learning experience for all participants.
What will you do:
Build strong relationships with and among students
Teach or co-lead daily activities
Establish clear objectives for all lessons units and projects and communicate those objectives to students
Participate in ongoing professional development activities
Prepare materials for daily activities
Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet students varying needs and interests
Other duties may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be at least 18 years of age
College credits and/or degrees are highly preferred
Experience working with children strongly preferred
Schedule:
Part-Time Seasonal/Temporary(July 2nd August 15th)
Weekly Scheduled Hours of 16-29 **No Summer Camp on July 4**
Elementary school: Monday-Friday 12pm-6pm.
Middle school: Monday- Thursday 12pm-6pm Fridays 8am-6pm(until August 8th)
Pay:
$20-25/hour (based on experience and credentials)

All summer activity specialists are required to complete a mandatory 3-hour curriculum and instruction training before the start of summer camp.
