A Material handler supports the day-to-day operations of the plant and has a direct impact on the success of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:
Focus Area: Support of departments with raw materials that are palletized using heavy equipment responding to each request within a timely manner.
Focus Area: Provide excellent customer service while serving employees suppliers and customers to ensure materials are handled appropriately and quality issues are escalated.
Focus Area: Familiar with safe operating procedures in regard to the use of heavy equipment in loading and unloading materials and stop work procedures.
Focus Area: Back up for the maintenance of inventory organization and accuracy for all store items Perform audits and cycle counts.
Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Forklift experience required must be able to retain a fork lift license.
Other Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Must have strong reading writing and math skills.
High attention to detail accuracy and organizational skills with the ability to execute special projects.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present a professional image in interactions with suppliers customers and colleagues.
Ability to work independently.
