Business Need/Purpose of Role:

A Material handler supports the day-to-day operations of the plant and has a direct impact on the success of the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Focus Area: Support of departments with raw materials that are palletized using heavy equipment responding to each request within a timely manner.

• Focus Area: Provide excellent customer service while serving employees suppliers and customers to ensure materials are handled appropriately and quality issues are escalated.

• Focus Area: Familiar with safe operating procedures in regard to the use of heavy equipment in loading and unloading materials and stop work procedures.

• Focus Area: Back up for the maintenance of inventory organization and accuracy for all store items Perform audits and cycle counts.

• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Forklift experience required must be able to retain a fork lift license.

Other Required Knowledge Skills & Abilities:

• Must have strong reading writing and math skills.

• High attention to detail accuracy and organizational skills with the ability to execute special projects.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present a professional image in interactions with suppliers customers and colleagues.

• Ability to work independently.
