Job Summary

As a Child Life Specialist youll be a beacon of comfort and support for children navigating medical experiences. Youll:Prepare and educate children for procedures through therapeutic play and emotional support
Plan and lead activities that normalize the hospital environment
Advocate for families and promote patient-centered care
Coordinate special events and collaborate with volunteers
Supervise students and volunteers sharing your expertise and passion
Position Details:
What You Bring
- Bachelors degree in a Child Life-related field
- Completion of a Child Life internship
- Eligibility for certification through the Association of Child Life Professionals
- BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong foundation in child development and medical terminology
Preferred:
2 years of experience in child education or healthcare
Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS)
