CVC DIF the infrastructure strategy of leading global private markets manager CVC is the majority shareholder in Low Carbon. Working alongside MassMutual CVC DIF will enable Low Carbon to significantly expand its installed capacity and drive the next stage of growth as a diversified leading next-generation IPP.
Role description
We are looking for a Contract Manager/Fully Qualified Lawyer (m/f/d) who will work with commitment and responsibility to drive forward the development of our projects together with our project developers and support the implementation of our strategic goals.
This position requires a positive attitude perseverance openness and passion for climate protection and renewable energies. The workplace is in Berlin.
Responsibilities
- You will draft and process project-related contracts (usage agreements with landowners and municipalities as well as corresponding service agreements)
- You will contractually coordinate the establishment of project companies
- You will identify and document deviations and discrepancies in contracts and monitor them
- You will be responsible for regularly reviewing and updating our standard doing so you will always keep an eye on deadlines terms and payment modalities as part of contract monitoring
- You prepare the registration of building encumbrances and easements together with our project development team and ensure that all contractual framework conditions are clearly documented and legally secure
- You will work closely with our project development team and liaise continuously with contractual partners authorities and local authorities law firms and notaries in a clear structured and professional manner and on an equal footing
- You will be the interface to the legal team in the UK

- You have a practical approach and are present throughout the company

Skills and experience
- You are fluent in German and English
- You have in-depth knowledge of contracts and contract negotiations
- You have a law degree from a German university
- Demonstratable professional experience in contract management ideally in a project-oriented environment and company
- Leadership experience and experience in project management are an advantage
