Job Summary

SUMMARY

The Social Worker provides therapeutic counseling services and clinical interventions to all students. Develops counseling goals to support academic progress for both general and exceptional education students. Supports the campus education team to identify access and evaluate eligibility for services.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited graduate school of social work

Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) Provider

Dependable mode of transportation

Availability to work flexible hours as needed

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual - Spanish/English

Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health

AHCCCS provider number

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE

FBI fingerprint background check.

Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles) or proof of MMR immunization.
Valid Drivers license (Arizona Drivers Licenserequiredwithin 30 days of hire)

Site: Exceptional Education Department- Location: Multiple Sites - District-Wide

FTE: 1.0 7.5 hours per day- 2 positions available
Work Calendar: 9.5 month

Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any positions that are 0.6 FTE or less and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
