Job Summary

Standing Bear High School is looking for a certified teacher and/or coach who would be responsible for the instruction of volleyball skills and techniques team systems and strategies; responsible for providing a safe and competitive environment; developing safe and properly planned and supervised practices and contests; provides leadership; is energetic a good communicator and able to build positive and purposeful relationships with student-athletes and their families. This position is primarrly in charge of the reserve program but is an assistant to the overall program as well.

Requires Teacher and/or coach who holds a Nebraska Department of Education Teacher or Administrative Certificate or a Nebraska Department of Education Special Services Coaching Permit.

Responsible for inspecting and maintaining the inventory and equipment; reporting contest results; and must know implement and enforce national state and local athletic policies.

This position is subject to a veterans preference.
