Mission Systems Production Test Engineering is seeking to fill an Engineering I Electrical Engineering position with a talented individual who is working toward a BSEE BSCmptrE or BSSwE degree.

Test Engineering will offer you the opportunity to work with an array of innovative test equipment solutions for Collins Aerospace products and programs. Your work will serve internal customers in supporting test stations deployed to our manufacturing teams and service centers.

As a Test Engineering Electrical Engineer you will utilize software development and debug skills on multi-rack automated test test stations include components such as switch systems signal generators spectrum analyzers oscilloscopes DMMs power supplies and other RF or digital related equipment. This role is onsite in Cedar Rapids Iowa. This role may be eligible for relocation.

What You Will Do:

• You will troubleshoot issues with hardware and software designs.
• You will review existing hardware and software drawings.
• You will help create new hardware and software documents.
• You will develop software used in test solutions.
• You will verify test results are accurate repeatable and reliable.

What You Will Learn:

• You will learn how to Analyze requirements for hardware/software design.
• You will learn how to design hardware and develop software to meet test requirements.
• You will learn how to Integrate and Test a Test Solution Package.
• You will learn how to Document Review and Release a Test Solution Package.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a Bachelors degree and 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Software skills in C C# are a plus.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

The salary range for this role is 57200 USD - 108800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
