Learning and Enrichment Coordinator

You will achieve this by planning and delivering the enrichment programme in term time and school holidays you will also be integral to supporting the careers programme and delivering interventions on a 1:1 basis with young people. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues across the home by offering their specialised knowledge and experience in behaviour management and child development. Due to the challenging environment of this role youll also need to have resilience and the ability to work in a reflective and trauma-informed way.

We are looking for candidates who:

• Have the ability to provide creative and engaging learning opportunities for children.
• Have specialist knowledge and experience e.g. in behaviour management pastoral care early years special educational needs or individual subject areas.
• Have knowledge of a range of strategies to establish a purposeful learning environment and to promote good behaviour.
• Have knowledge of the key factors that affect the way pupils learn.
• Have experience of working with vulnerable children or young people.

It is vital that all staff fully understand and undertake their role with professionalism and in accordance with the safeguarding policy and procedures. You will be given extensive training and ongoing support to fully undertake this part of your role and as such will be held to high standards to help keep children safe.
