Our solutions empower engineers researchers and innovators across the globe. We are seeking a Material Control Supervisor to facilitate the flow of material through the factory.

A day in the life of the Material Control Supervisor:

In this role youre the goto person for keeping materials flowing smoothly through the Fluke Norwich facility. Day to day youll be making sure inventory stays accurate materials are where they need to be and the production lines never run dry.

Youll handle things like completing inventory cycle counts overseeing Kanban audits and digging into any variances or nonconformances to figure out what happened and how to fix it. Youll work closely with Production Team Leaders to keep manufacturing areas fully stocked.

Youre also responsible for leading and developing a team of Material Handlers. That means training them on standard processes coaching them crosstraining where needed and helping them grow in their roles. Youll keep clear records and use daily management tools to track performance and drive improvements.

Since the site is growing and managing more parts your focus on strong material control becomes even more important. Youll collaborate with Production Leaders Supervisors Goods In/Shipping and Project Coordination teams to keep everything running smoothly and supportively.

What we are looking for:

To manage the day-to-day movement and stock control of materials (parts for manufactured products and Finished Products) within the Fluke Norwich facility you will need:

  • Experience in warehousing/inventory presentation
  • Experience in stock take/ cycle counting
  • Timely decision making skills
  • Sound judgement of difficult situations
  • Good team communication skills
  • PC Literacy including Microsoft Office
  • Prior Lean Production experience is a bonus
