The Omaha School District is seeking a licensed School Counselor (K12) for the 2026-2027 school year to primarily serve students in grades 712 with the ability to provide support to K6 students as needed. This position requires a valid Arkansas School Counselor License (or eligibility to obtain) and a masters degree in school counseling from an ADE-approved program. The counselor will deliver a comprehensive school counseling program aligned with the Arkansas School Counseling Framework the ASCA National Model and the districts MTSS system supporting students academic social-emotional and career development. Responsibilities include academic planning graduation and postsecondary readiness individual and group counseling crisis response collaboration with staff and families and compliance with Arkansas DESE requirements FERPA and the Arkansas Code of Ethics for Educators.
