POSITION: CTE Manufacturing Teacher 2026-27 SY
JOB SUMMARY: We seek a passionate and dedicated CTE Teacher to join our team. The Career and Technical Education (CTE) Teacher Industrial Technology is responsible for delivering engaging hands-on instruction in wood shop metal fabrication and basic automotive mechanics to high school students. This position develops and implements curriculum aligned with state CTE standards emphasizes workplace safety and proper tool use and integrates real-world skills such as blueprint reading measurement welding small engine repair and project construction. The teacher fosters a safe structured learning environment supports career readiness and industry certification opportunities maintains shop equipment and inventory and collaborates with staff and community partners to prepare students for post-secondary education apprenticeships and skilled trades careers.
SALARY RANGE: $45359.87 to $87503.29 a year- Full time
Placement on the salary schedule will be commensurate with education and experience and will follow District policy GCBA.
BENEFITS: Employer-paid insurance CAP to assist with health dental and vision premiums employer-paid Basic Life and AD&D policies. Two (2) days of personal leave ten (10) days of sick leave seven (7) paid holidays and a generous PERS retirement contribution (if applicable) for a full-time position. Harrisburg operates on a 4-day school week M-TH.
QUALIFICATIONS: Valid Oregon Teachers License with appropriate endorsement and authorization level required.
