Requirements
You should have:
- Bachelors degree or currently enrolled in a Masters program
- minimum two to three years of relevant work experience
- experience in research or public health is an advantage
- excellent command of SPSS/STATA or other statistical software
- proficiency in spreadsheets and presentation tools
- sound understanding of databases and basic programming
- strong timemanagement and taskprioritization abilities
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work effectively under pressure
- strong team orientation.
Introduction
The Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health has ten community-based field sites across Pakistan (including four in Karachi) and focuses on research for betterment of women and child health. The Department has a Nutritional Research Laboratory as well as an Infectious Disease Research Laboratory that cater to the needs of its research projects. It has well-acclaimed work to its credit both at the national and international level.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible to supervise and monitor the research activities including data collection as well as maintain necessary records create and sustain liaison with the relevant stakeholders for the smooth implementation of all necessary activities of the project. Specific responsibilities include to:
- supervise analyze and interpret data from research projects
- check data for inaccuracies and perform data cleaning and management
- prepare statistical reports including tables charts and graphs
- perform data processing and ensure proper formatting and transmission
- support decisions regarding statistical methods sample size calculation and model building
- use statistical techniques to forecast results and trends
- prepare weekly and monthly project updates
- develop presentations and posters for conferences
- perform additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.
