Qualifications
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
BSN required or must be obtained within 2 years (current enrollment preferred).
Licensure:
Active RN license in the state of practice.
Experience:
Minimum of four (4) years of clinical experience in the specialty or a related area.
Demonstrated ability in management principles staff supervision teaching performance improvement and budgeting.
Basic computer proficiency including data entry Windows and MS Office.
Certifications:
CPR and NRP required.
Other Requirements:
To ensure patient safety all licensed caregivers providing direct patient care must successfully pass a medication and math competency exam prior to administering medications. This assessment includes commonly used drug actions side effects dosage calculations and IV math.
