Position Details
- Schedule: MondayFriday 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Telework: Not authorized
- Contract Period: Base year with option years
- Heath and Wellness benefit
- 11 Paid Holiday
- 2 Weeks Paid Vacation
- 56 hours a year of paid sick time
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain medical and dental records in compliance with applicable regulations
- Scan index label and file records into electronic readiness systems
- Review records for completeness prior to training transfers retirements and readiness events
- Prescreen records ahead of scheduled readiness events within required timelines
- Perform a quarterly inventory of medical and dental records
- Assist with appointment coordination and medical record requests
- Ensure safeguarding and proper dissemination of sensitive information
Qualifications
- Medical Record Technician classification (DOL code 12190)
- Preferred: 1 years of experience (not mandatory)
- Must be able to meet government installation access and background requirements
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism in handling protected information
