Cedar Park Med is hiring experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for an Adult PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) assignment at a downtown hospital. This role requires strong critical care and inpatient PACU experience with the ability to deliver safe high-quality pre- and post-operative nursing care with minimal orientation and supervision in a fast-paced recovery room setting.
12-hour shifts 6 shifts per two-week period
Day and evening rotations: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM / 11:00 AM 11:30 PM ()
Every other weekend required no call
13 week assignment with possible extension

Current New York State RN license/registration
BLS certification (must be able to be re-certified)
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and acuity
Inpatient PACU experience
Critical Care experience
Experience using EPIC Electronic Medical Records
Perform the majority of patient care skills required in an adult PACU setting with minimal orientation and supervision
Conduct thorough nursing assessments appropriate to post-anesthesia and critical care acuity
Provide safe effective pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
Monitor patients during recovery and promptly report changes in condition
Collaborate with anesthesiology surgeons and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support patient care
