Technica LLC seeks to recruit for the position of Electronics Technician Maintenance I on a Government contract with a place of performance at Fort Bliss TX. This position is full-time but temporary. Anticipated period of performance ending 3 October 2026.
Position Responsibilities:
- This position performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on military and commercial electronics and communications equipment.
- Perform routine tasks following detailed instructions such as replacing components wiring circuits and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters signal generators oscilloscopes and specialized testing systems.
- Perform bench and onsite
- Apply intermediate technical knowledge to solve routine problems using technical manuals or similar
- Receives technical guidance from a supervisor or high-level
- Works under the close supervision of an assistant supervisor or Work is checked frequently for accuracy.
- Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers manuals or similar documents.
- Utilizes hand tools diagnostic tools complex computers systems for advanced
- Operates materiel handling equipment (MHE) as
- Performing other duties assigned by the Assistant Supervisor or Lead
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of related experience.
- Must possess an intermediate level of experience troubleshooting servicing and repairing equipment such as but not limited to the following: AN/PVS Night Vision Devices AN/PYQ-10 Cryptic Transfer Units AN/UDR-13 Radiac Set RT-153F Receiver Transmitter Radio M150 Sight Bore Optics PAS-13CV2 PVS14 Mono Night Vision VDR2 Radiac set Blue Force Tracker Drivers Vision Enhancer (DVE) Radio Set Vehicular (Harris) SINCGAR Radios Power Supplies Thermal Imaging Systems and Weapon Sights.
- Knowledge in completing necessary documentation such as the DA Form-and other Department of the Army or Department of Defense-related forms.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks related to the position.
- Valid state issued driver license.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be a US Citizen or US permanent resident for more than 3 years.
- Able to function with a basic level of English oral and written language skills.
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions to include intense heat heavy wind blowing sand heavy rain sleet and snow.
- Must be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time.
- Able to pick up and move items within a 49 lbs. restriction with a frequent or constant lifting of 40 lbs.
- Able to climb in and out of military vehicles and related equipment.
- Capable of climbing and working on equipment at 10 feet above ground limit.
- Capable of using and understanding Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Able to work past normal hours as mission dictates.
- Prior military experience in Military Occupational Skill (MOS) 94E 25C or 94F.
- Defense contracting experience inspecting and ordering repair parts for military
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks related to the position.
