We are on a transformative journey to build a more resilient and future-focused bank. Our Group Risk function is evolving and were looking for a Project Coordinator Stress Testing to be a crucial part of this change.

In this role you will provide essential project management coordination and administrative support to the Enterprise Wide Stress Testing (EWST) function.

You will be instrumental in ensuring the timely and effective delivery of stress testing cycles by providing sound governance and facilitating engagement between stakeholders managing project deliverables and supporting the collation and validation of results. The role also supports continuous improvement insights generation documentation maintenance and scenario development activities.

Your Impact: Driving Excellence

As a key driver of our functions success. You will be responsible for:

  • End-to-End Project Coordination: You will manage the complete lifecycle of enterprise-wide stress testing from planning and execution to ensuring all milestones and approvals are handled effectively. This includes maintaining project plans and proactively managing risks and dependencies.
  • Central Stakeholder Engagement: Acting as the main point of contact you will coordinate across key departments like Risk Finance Treasury and various Business Units to ensure alignment facilitate timely decisions and build strong constructive working relationships.
  • Robust Governance and Reporting: You will be responsible for maintaining strong governance by accurately tracking decisions risks and actions. A key part of your role will be preparing clear and timely reports for senior management and governance forums to ensure everything is auditable and defensible for regulators.
  • Framework and Process Improvement: You will actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the stress testing framework by facilitating post-implementation reviews capturing lessons learned and tracking improvement actions to completion. This also includes maintaining and updating key documentation templates and governance materials like RACI matrices and Terms of Reference.

This is a permanent position based out of our Adelaide or Sydney offices.

What youll bring to the role

To thrive in this role you are an accomplished risk professional with a passion for your field and a proactive curious mindset. We are looking for:

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate complex projects with multiple stakeholders ensuring all objectives and timelines are met.
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder engagement and communication with experience coordinating across divisions and facilitating large workshops.
  • Strong capabilities in identifying tracking and escalating risks and dependencies in a structured and timely manner.
  • A thorough understanding of enterprise-wide stress testing bank risk management frameworks (including ICAAP) and regulatory governance in the financial sector.
  • High attention to detail and robust documentation skills to support regulatory requirements alongside proficiency in preparing governance papers and reports.
  • Treasury qualifications and project management experience highly regarded
