Job Description:

The Geel site is our largest chemical production site for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) within the J&J supply chain. We ensure lifesaving medicines reach the patient safely and optimally. Besides production of APIs the site has a launch & grow mission for new pharmaceutical products. To accomplish this mission we keep investing in innovative technologies people and partnerships.

The role

Ensure and improve the well being (safety health environment) within a business unit through daily contacts with operations reviewing and analyzing good saves near misses and executing and implementing smaller improvement projects.

The main activities

• Regular contact with operations via Tier 2 meeting Prevention meetings observation tours..

• Investigate safety environmental incidents to identify root causes and implement improvements

• Analyze good saves near misses to identify improvement

• Coordinate lead smaller improvement project on business unit or site level.

Minimum Qualification

• Masters Degree preferably in Chemical engineering or Process technology (bioengineering industrial engineering or chemistry) or consistent track record in an industrial operational environment.

• Basic knowledge of legislation and guidelines related to well-being (safety health environment) on the job floor.

• Technical knowledge of some of the following is highly valued: spray dryer/dryer process analytical technologies (PAT) data analytical tools/digitalization

• Owns good project management organizing planning and coordination skills.

• Problem solving skills

• Develops strong collaborations with internal business partners.

• Working knowledge of English (both verbally and written) and Dutch
