BlueGroup Director

Seasonal Position

Payrange:Starting at$22.56 - $25.95(PT-6)

Location:Thetown of Cohasset is seekingabluegroupdirectorfor the summer program with therecreationdepartment. This position reports to the Recreation Director.

Description ofresponsibilities:

Bluegroupdirectoris responsible forafull-day5-6year-oldprogram.

The primary responsibility of all the staff is to supervise and lead children aged 5-6through the Playground program.Activities such as games sports arts and crafts songs dance drama and field trips while ensuring a safe supervised environment.Additionalduties include supporting the director and coordinatorsparticipatingin training sessionsmaintainingrecords such as weekly attendance and accident reports and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility and grounds. Staff will also enforce Recreation Department rules and policies related to the program and deliver exceptional customer service to both patrons and fellow staff members

Requirements:

CPR: All applicants must hold a current CPR certification. CPR classes will be provided to staff at no cost.

2026 Summer Program Dates

Monday June 29ththrough Friday August 7

Session 1 June 29ththrough July 17th Mon-Fri

Session 2 July 20ththrough August 7th Mon-Fri

Orientation Mandatory week of June 22nd
