The Accountant / Medical Claims Support is responsible for preparing examining and analyzing financial statements reports and supporting documentation ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles. This role involves classifying recording and reporting financial operations reconciling statements with records and identifying researching and resolving accounting discrepancies. This position also analyzes allocates and monitors expenditures and revenues assists with the development and improvement of accounting procedures maintains accounting ledgers journals and registers and has the ability to gather verify and analyze medical claims to resolve complex problems. On occasion this role assists the Medicaid Administrative Officer in financial and claims-related matters.
The Accountant / Medical Claims Support may provide guidance or direction to technical and support staff as needed supporting a collaborative and efficient accounting function. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills proficiency in accounting software and a keen attention to detail contributing to accurate financial reporting and sound decision-making across the organization.
