The IT Solutions Architect will lead the design and implementation of enterprise-wide technology solutions that align with AmeriLifes strategic goals. This role will serve as a key technical contributor within the IT Applications & Architecture team responsible for defining architectural standards guiding stakeholders and ensuring scalable secure and high-performing systems across the organization.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and architecture of complex IT solutions across multiple platforms and business domains.
Collaborate with business stakeholders product owners and IT leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Define and enforce architectural standards best practices and governance processes.
Evaluate and recommend new technologies tools and frameworks to support innovation and efficiency.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams ensuring alignment with architectural vision.
Oversee solution integration data flow and system interoperability across AmeriLifes technology ecosystem.
Ensure solutions meet performance security and compliance requirements.
Partner with infrastructure security and DevOps teams to support deployment and operational readiness.
Drive continuous improvement in solution delivery and architecture maturity.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science Information Systems or related field.
10 years of experience in IT with at least 5 years in solutions architecture or technical leadership role.
Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale solutions including large-scale web applications or internet portals
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred) microservices APIs and modern development frameworks.
Experience with enterprise systems such as CRM Portals and data platforms.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus.
