You will be responsible for:

  • The supervision it receives is essentially administrative with assignments objectives and limits given in general terms.
  • He has full technical and administrative responsibility to interpret organize execute and coordinate his areas of responsibility.
  • Maintains liaison between individuals and areas within or around your organization with responsibility to act independently on techniques or issues related to your area.
  • Implements target systems and procedures to ensure that equipment and machinery meet the operational performance and utilization required. Reviews machinery and equipment requirements based on production schedules. Determines and monitors the implementation of capital goods improvements.
  • Ensures the introduction of new products in compliance with operational G&O.
  • Identifies needs and coordinates the development and support of systems i.e. Materials Management Quality Assurance Human Resources Information Management and Interdependent partnering.
  • He perfectly understands the precepts of the Quality System Regulations (QSR). It makes sure to comply with ISO and QSR regulations.
  • Reviews and recommends changes to current policies and procedures as they apply to present business needs.
  • Provides and establishes an appropriate climate for operation within the business unit through the implementation of projects related to continuous improvement and in compliance with regulations that apply to all aspects of the business.
  • Make decisions based on an understanding of multiple departments and the relationship between them.
  • Foster relationships by influencing the entire organization to unify criteria.
  • Manages the operation to ensure the achievement of CIP and COGS initiatives.
  • Understands and implements Signature of Quality (SOQ) Lean Mfg. and Process Excellence (six sigma) methods.
  • Provides leadership to meet the challenges of Diversity.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of environmental safety and health programs.
  • Engineering Change Management
  • Control of Product Design / Processes / Equipment. Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal State local and Company regulations policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Academic degree as a professional in Engineering or related Sciences. Masters degree preferably.
  • (8) to (10) years of experience preferably in Operations Manufacturing or related activities preferably in the field of medical products or the pharmaceutical industry with a minimum of three (3) years at managerial levels preferably.
  • Who has knowledge about new product launches building construction and start of operations knowledge about Quality Assurance requirements GMPs Safety and Environment building maintenance planning and development of Finance and Human Resources preferably.
  • Experience supervising people with technical skills is required (2 years as a minimum)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish
  • Skills and general knowledge for financial analysis budgeting and costs preferably

  • Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive complaints.
  • Ability to write speeches and articles using original and innovative techniques and styles.
  • Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations of complex topics to employees at all levels senior management audience group and the board of directors.
  • Skills in the use of PCs and associated software preferably knowledge of JDE (JD Edwards).
  • Project management skills: ability to lead teams in different locations executing projects
  • Technical skills preferably: Tool Design Product/ Process Risk Assessment Design and automation of equipment Process development for NPD Interplant transfer Lean and Six Sigma Skills (GB BB MBB) Process Validation Design Validation and Verification RCA/Failure Analysis/Troubleshooting guide Operations Management Technical Process Writing Regulatory Knowledge Process Characterization Mechanical and Electrical Skills Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T) DFMA (Design for manufacturing and assembly)Assembly process and equipment development PLC (Troubleshooting) Understanding product inputs and outputs (Design intent)
  • Ability to negotiate with various representative government agencies.
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicts and the ability to resolve them diplomatically.
  • Ability to translate corporate goals and objectives into successful strategies.
  • Strong ability to analyze and solve problems interpersonal relationship skills negotiation leadership ability to interact with associates technology management financial analysis and customer-oriented marketing decisions.

  • Knowledge of the Quality system and procedures of structure of documents of preference
