This position is responsible for general warehouse operations such as organizing/cleaning the workspace refilling stock general safety and learning the technical items of the trade.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
General warehouse operations.
Receiving freight operating a forklift and stocking the warehouse
Check in orders and stock all inventory items.
Keep shop organized and clean.
Maintain clean and organize all shop tools.
Check specialty tools in and out.
Maintaining extinguishers and system cylinders in various locations in shop.
Record and document all inspections repairs discrepancies and recommendations either electronically or manually.
Maintain a good positive relationship with the customer and pass on information to the appropriate personnel for follow up quotes questions or concerns.
Perform other duties assigned by management.
Must be willing to drive part to field technicians in the tri-state as needed.
Education/Qualification:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Must have two years of Industry experience.
Must have good interpersonal skills and be able to work in a team environment as well as work independently.
Requires the ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
Requires the ability to use or repair small/light equipment such as power tools ladders medium equipment and machinery.
Must be able to pass a motor vehicle driving report.
Other Duties:
Adheres to the Code of Conduct Confidentiality Agreement and Company Safety Policy.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequent lifting and carrying of toolboxes equipment parts tools equipment cabling and/or wiring.
Frequent ladder climbing and checking pulling wire etc.
Walking stooping bending crouching kneeling and raising hands overhead.
