ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Obtains accurate demographic information from the patient or patient representative when registering a patient.
2. Adds appropriate case and scheme information for special matters.
3. Inputs insurance information accurately ensuring clean claims processing.
4. Process all patient medical record releases according to HIPAA policy and procedure adhering to patients rights
and confidentiality.
5. Answers telephone in a timely and courteous manner.
6. Is punctual in arriving on duty and can be relied upon to be on duty as scheduled.
7. On a regular basis finished and leaves work on time unless deemed necessary by supervisor to stay.
8. Attire and personal cleanliness meets department standards.
9. Exhibits willingness and responsiveness to supervisors request. Fulfills additional responsibilities within the
expertise of the individuals job scope that is appropriate to his/her practice.
10. Participates with other department members in generating and implementing ideas to enhance productivity.
11. Consistently adheres to all policies regarding patients rights and confidentiality.
12. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned
