Job Title: Locum Physician - Hematology Oncology

Job Responsibilities:
- Provide consultations and follow-up care to patients.
- Oversee the administration of antineoplastics in the clinic.
- Participate in phone triage calls from hospitalists.
- Conduct bone marrow biopsies and manage patient treatment plans.
- Engage with a support team of nurses social workers and ancillary staff.
- Maintain a schedule of 16 patient shifts per month primarily Monday to Thursday.
- Utilize EMR (EPIC) for patient documentation.
- Opportunity to teach and mentor advanced practice providers.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology (REQUIRED)
- Active Iowa License or Active IMLC (REQUIRED)
- Fellowship trained in Hematology & Oncology (REQUIRED)
- Full-time availability (Monday - Thursday REQUIRED)
- Experience preferred but new graduates will be considered
- Ability to perform MUA (REQUIRED)
- Clean malpractice and background check (REQUIRED)
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Iowa Medical License or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
- Board certification in Hematology and Oncology
- Fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology
