Were looking for enthusiastic Door-to-Door Canvassers who will approach and engage potential voters in the federal riding of Edmonton-Riverbend. This is frontline physically active work. Youll be on your feet walking the neighborhood working outdoors in all-weather conditions and using your personal vehicle to travel between assigned areas. Were looking for people who are comfortable working in the field confident speaking with the public and committed to doing the work properly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct door-to-door canvassing within assigned neighborhoods on behalf of a political party in advance of an upcoming by-election
• Ask standardized questions and accurately capture responses
• Collect contact information when voluntarily provided
• Represent OSL and our clients with professionalism and integrity

What does it take to succeed in this role

• Confident composed and comfortable engaging with the public
• Detail-oriented and disciplined in following scripts and protocols
• Reliable punctual and accountable
• Previous professional canvassing or field experience is a strong asset

Requirements

• You are a conservative member voter or you are bipartisan and have no political affiliations
• Full-Time Availability
  Schedule: Wednesday-Saturday (12:00PM-8:00PM) Sunday (10:00AM-6:00PM)
• Comfortable with standing walking being on your feet for extended periods of time
• Valid drivers license and access to a reliable personal vehicle
• Smartphone required for field data collection
