Epic Analyst

Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design enhancement and maintenance of application solutions that meet defined business needs.
- Modify and support moderately complex application programs using detailed specifications and established standards.
- Help ensure applications are reliable and easy to use by participating in coding testing debugging and documentation.
- Support systems analysis activities by gathering information identifying issues and helping define practical solutions.
- Apply standard development techniques to deliver consistent highquality results while continuing to build technical depth.
- Assist with research and factfinding to support application improvements and database maintenance efforts.
- Collaborate with team members to implement updates and resolve routine application issues efficiently.
- Provide thoughtful input and initial analysis reports for review by senior team members.
- Offer guidance and daytoday support to junior team members as your skills and confidence grow.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Epic software support or a related technical role.
- Handson experience coding testing debugging and maintaining applications in a professional environment.
- Basic understanding of application development concepts systems analysis and structured problem solving.
- Ability to follow defined processes while learning how to select the right techniques with guidance.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting or working with enterprise applications or databases.
- Exposure to healthcare insurance or other regulated environments.
- Familiarity with software documentation and reporting practices.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (preferred not required).
- Interest in mentoring or informally supporting newer team members.
