Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced service-driven General Manager to lead our high-end dining establishment. This individual will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations ensuring exceptional guest experiences operational excellence financial performance and team leadership.
The ideal candidate is a polished hospitality professional with a passion for fine dining strong leadership capabilities and a proven track record of driving revenue while maintaining elevated service standards.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit train and mentor front- and back-of-house management teams
- Foster a culture of professionalism accountability and hospitality excellence
- Lead daily pre-shift meetings and ongoing service training
- Maintain high staff morale and retention
Guest Experience
- Ensure impeccable service standards are consistently delivered
- Personally engage with VIP guests and manage guest recovery when needed
- Uphold the restaurants brand ambiance and luxury presentation standards
Operations Management
- Oversee daily restaurant operations including dining room bar and events
- Maintain compliance with health safety and liquor regulations
- Manage vendor relationships and inventory controls
- Ensure the highest quality standards for food beverage and presentation
Financial Performance
- Develop and manage budgets P&L statements and forecasting
- Control labor costs and cost of goods sold
- Drive revenue growth through strategic promotions and community partnerships
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement performance improvements
Brand & Community Engagement
- Collaborate with marketing on promotions events and brand positioning
- Build relationships within the local business and hospitality community
Qualifications
- 3 years of progressive restaurant management experience
- Proven experience managing annual revenue operations (preferred)
- Financial acumen with experience in reading and managing P&L statements
- Exceptional leadership communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of wine craft cocktails and elevated dining service standards
- ServSafe and alcohol certification (or ability to obtain)
