Assists physicians in the medical center by performing all duties necessary to provide perfusion services during cardiac vascular ECMO and other surgical cases. Reports to the Manager-Perfusion Services. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission values and Mercy Service Standards.
Position Details:
Education: Bachelors degree required.
Licensure: Must hold a license as a Licensed Clinical Perfusionist (LCP) in the applicable state of practice.
Experience: New graduate perfusionist acceptable. Some experience preferred.
Certifications: Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) required. ABCP certified or eligible.
Provisional licensure is accepted for new graduates. LCP and CCP must be obtained within 1 year of employment date.
