Financial Controller About RSS Mobile Trailer Repair RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is a rapidly expanding provider of on-site trailer repair solutions focused on keeping customers fleets operating safely and efficiently. As we expand into new markets this role is critical in strengthening the financial infrastructure that supports sustainable growth. Position Overview The Financial Controller will lead all accounting and financial operations ensuring accuracy strong internal controls and organizational transparency. This role will modernize and scale the finance function during a pivotal stage of company growth. Key Responsibilities - Lead monthly quarterly and annual close processes and oversee GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls accounting policies and procedures.
- Partner with Operations on job costing margin analysis and financial performance visibility.
- Collaborate with FP&A on budgeting forecasting and business performance analysis.
- Monitor cash flow working capital and capital expenditure planning.
- Build scalable financial processes and reporting infrastructure to support growth.
- Oversee ERP optimization financial system enhancements and development of leadership dashboards.
- Lead and mentor accounting staff as the team expands.
Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- 5 years of progressive accounting experience including leadership of month-end close.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in fast-growing environments.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment and provide hands-on support during system transitions and process improvements.
Preferred: - CPA (or in progress).
- Experience in service logistics transportation or technician-based industries.
- Background in scaling or multi-location organizations.
- NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
- Experience implementing or optimizing financial systems and processes.
