Overview

Our client is a leading energy company seeking a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer I to join their Engineering & Construction team. This contract position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge renewable energy projects including wind solar energy storage and transmission infrastructure. The role can be performed remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Provide engineering support to Civil Subject Matter Experts across multiple project phases
Deliver responsive engineering support for wind solar energy storage clean fuels substation and transmission projects
Maintain apply and promote best practices related to civil and geotechnical engineering
Participate in design and constructability reviews providing timely feedback to avoid schedule impacts
Support resolution of critical execution-phase issues affecting project budget and schedule
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including structural engineers and risk management specialists
Assist in stormwater management and sediment/erosion control planning

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
0-5 years of relevant engineering experience
Knowledge of civil and geotechnical engineering principles
Experience with renewable energy projects preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Proficiency in engineering software and design tools
