A well-established acute care hospital in Ocala Florida is seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join its critical care team. The facility is a Level I Trauma Center and the regions only Comprehensive Stroke Center offering a wide range of advanced clinical services including cardiovascular neurological orthopedic robotic bariatric emergency and rehabilitation care. The organization is committed to delivering high-quality patient-centered care.
The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) provides and coordinates high-quality patient-centered care in a 48-bed Intensive Care Unit. The RN practices within the professional standards of critical care nursing and collaborates closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes.
Perform critical care procedures and advanced hemodynamic monitoring as ordered
Provide timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
Educate patients and families on diagnoses medications treatment plans and follow-up care
Translate complex medical information into understandable terms
Promote evidence-based practice and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Coordinate multidisciplinary care plans to support patient recovery
Advocate for patients and families to ensure a positive care experience
Required:
Minimum 1 year of Acute Care RN experience within the last 3 years
(Higher-acuity experience preferred; strong Med/Surg candidates considered)
Active Florida RN license or approved multistate compact license
(Compact license holders must obtain a Florida license within 60 days of relocation)
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire
ACLS certification within 30 days of hire
TNCC or CCRN certification within 1 year of hire
Strong desire to learn and commitment to high-quality patient outcomes
