Benton County Health Services is seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Health Business Analystto support a wide range of clinical operational and financial programs across the organization. This role plays a key part in the building optimization and maintenance of reporting tools and clinical information systems. They also willserve as a trusted resource to staff in their use of the OCHIN Epicelectronic medical record. The ideal candidate brings exceptional attention to detail strong analytical and technical skills and a service-oriented mindset. They will have the ability to partner closely with clinical teams leadership IT and our external partners to ensure all systems and reporting processes effectively support the delivery high-quality health services.

JOB SUMMARY
Support all Benton County Health Services (BCHS) staff in their use of practice management clinical information systems and other technologies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
The following minimum qualifications are REQUIREDfor this position:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university AND2 years of professional experience in the area of assignment.
Special Requirements:
  • Experience in database management and report writing preferably using SQL and/or Crystal Reports in a healthcare setting.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Hiring is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
  • Valid Oregon drivers license. This position requires driving and may require use of a personal vehicle.

This individual is organized adaptable and committed to data integrity continuous improvement and stewardship of County addition the ideal candidate will possess experience in many of the following areas:
  • Experience with EpicCare Ambulatory or Similar EMR Systems including end-user training or at-the-elbow clinical support
  • Clinical workflow analysis and system optimization
  • Quality improvement methods and process documentation
  • Cross-system data validation and clinical/financial report reconciliation
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted. Please note candidates must have at least 6 months of actual work experience to be considered as equivalent.
