The Opportunity:
As the Instruction and Classroom Support Technician 2 for the College of Veterinary Medicine you will assist withthe Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)professional student instructional laboratories within the Clinical Instructional Service area. This includes assisting students during laboratories and surgeries providing pre- and post-op care as needed ordering supplies maintaining equipment for laboratory use and leading temporary employees.
Additional Information:
This is a full time (100% FTE) permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary:
$3925 - $5271 Range 44 (Steps A-M) Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.

Required Qualifications:
A Bachelors Degree with major study in specific instructional area; or equivalent education/experience.
Must passWSUradiation safety training exam first time it is available.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a teaching/laboratory setting.
Experiences working with small and large animals.
Experience working in a Veterinary Clinic / Hospital setting.
