Rate of Pay: 185.00 - 243.28 per day
Summary:
A Senior Estates Surveyor is required to lead the strategic management of the Councils property portfolio. The role will oversee property management asset strategy compliance acquisitions and disposals while ensuring financial efficiency and alignment with corporate objectives. The postholder will play a key role in delivering innovative service-driven property solutions and ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance across the estate.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee management of all council-owned properties ensuring efficient use and high maintenance standards
- Provide professional property advice to Council services
- Manage acquisitions disposals leases and valuations
- Ensure all properties comply with legislation health & safety standards and Council policies
- Promote innovative and strategic property solutions
- Prepare and manage the property department budget
Qualifications:
- MRICS qualified (Essential)
Essential Requirements:
- Significant experience in estates and asset management within a complex property portfolio
- Strong knowledge of property legislation compliance and health & safety requirements
- Experience managing property budgets and financial reporting
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively
