Skills & Responsibilities:
- Leading discipline focused tasks liaising with other technical colleagues and client representatives as required.
- Delivering against relevant internal and external client deadlines to a high standard of accuracy and quality.
- Supporting bids by providing input into relevant technical areas.
- Providing front line support to client requests and issues.
- Supports/organises the preparation of the Technical Document Register (TDR).Identifiesrequirements and scope ofwork;reviews Basis of Design philosophies specifications and other relevant documents.
- Supports discipline input to regular Project reporting.
- Supports the Lead Electrical Engineer with Technical Bid Evaluations.
- Reviews vendor documentation and comments to ensure design conformance.
- Ensures compliance with Kents ISO Quality procedures Project Quality Plan and Design Integrity processes and procedures.
- Complying withother Kent accredited frameworks such as ISO 14001.
- Interfaces with other disciplines as necessary to ensure integrated andoptimaldesign.
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employees skills capabilities and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employees current workload and with respect to their professional development.
Yourknowledge/skillseducationandexperience:
- Degree qualified in relevant engineering discipline.
- Chartered status with a relevant Engineering Institution.
- Proven experience in relevant discipline area.
- Experience in an operational engineering support role is desirable.
- Experience with typical Oil and Gas iindustry client systems e.g. JDE SAP Maximo COABIS etc.
- Power system studies protection system Electrical Engineering design and calculations
- Knowledge and understanding of technical documentation relevant to discipline e.g. SLDs isometrics P&IDs hazardous area drawings layout drawings GAs equipment registers etc.
- Experience in developing workpacks for enactment on site by own company or third party/vendor as applicable.
- Experience of reviewing and sentencing anomalies including risk ranking categorisation and risk ranking as appropriate.
- Knowledge and familiarity with relevant inspection techniques including GVI/CVI as well as NDT NII etc.
- Experience and knowledge of using relevant industry codes and standards e.g. ISO BS ASME API etc.
Communication:
- Excellent command of English language in both oral and written communication and skills

- Self-motivated & comfortable taking responsibility across a range of tasks.
- High attention to detail.
- Team player.
- High level of MS Office skills including Word Excel Outlook & Teams.
- Well organised and methodical in your approach to project work.
